Our Team
Jennifer Kalia Overlie, DNP, PMHNP-BC
I am continually inspired by the strength, resilience, and determination that individuals demonstrate as they work toward improving their lives. It is a privilege to support clients on their journey to wellness and improved mental health. I believe in treating the whole person by addressing the health of the mind, body, and spirit. Through the thoughtful integration of medication management, psychotherapy, education, nutritional evaluation, and lifestyle considerations, I strive to develop individualized treatment plans that align with each person's unique goals, values, and beliefs.

My approach to care is both collaborative and evidence-based. I believe the most effective treatment occurs when patients are active participants in their care and feel empowered to make informed decisions about their mental health. By building a strong therapeutic partnership, I work alongside each individual to develop practical, sustainable strategies that support lasting wellness and meaningful life change. I am a Doctor of Nursing Practice and board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. My career in behavioral health began in 2005, and I continued my education through the completion of my doctoral degree. Throughout my career, I have worked with individuals of all ages in a variety of treatment settings. My experience includes caring for those struggling with eating disorders, substance use disorders, treatment-resistant depression, anxiety, impulse control disorders, psychosis, and adolescent mental health concerns. My passion for providing compassionate, accessible, and high-quality mental health care ultimately led me to found Inspire Psychiatric. I created Inspire Psychiatric with the vision of offering personalized, comprehensive care in an environment where patients feel heard, respected, and supported. Watching the practice grow and witnessing the positive impact on the lives of our patients has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career. I truly love what I do and feel honored each day to be part of my patients' journeys toward greater emotional wellness, resilience, and fulfillment. I feel deeply called to this profession and remain grateful for the opportunity to help individuals discover hope, healing, and lasting improvement in their mental wellbeing.

One of the most rewarding aspects of my work is having the opportunity to walk alongside individuals as they improve their mental health and overall quality of life. I believe that meaningful healing occurs through personalized, collaborative treatment that combines thoughtful medication management, supportive therapy, education, and healthy lifestyle strategies. My goal is to instill hope, foster connection, and empower each individual to discover their strengths as they work towards lasting wellness.

I am a Master's-prepared Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and have been caring for individuals in behavioral health since 2005. I joined Inspire Psychiatric in 2019 and currently serve as the Clinical Director. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with individuals experiencing some of the most challenging moments of their lives, including those facing crisis, depression, anxiety, substance use disorders, trauma, and executive functioning difficulties, including those perpetuated by hormonal shifts during postpartum pregnancy, perimenopause, and post-menopause. I strive to provide compassionate, evidence-based care that addresses the health of the mind, body, and spirit in a calm, welcoming, and supportive environment where individuals feel safe, respected, understood and heard without judgment. As Clinical Director, I am passionate about supporting not only our patients but also our providers. I enjoy mentoring our psychiatric nurse practitioners and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner students who are gaining the hours required for their licensing credentials as they continue to develop their clinical skills and confidence under my guidance. Fostering a collaborative environment where providers can learn from one another is one of the most fulfilling aspects of my role. I also value building strong relationships with therapists and other behavioral health/ medical/ nutritional providers in the community for a more collaborative approach to mental health care. I believe that open communication and collaboration between providers are essential to delivering the highest quality of care for our shared patients. I specialize in medication management for adults and older adults, but I enjoy working with transitional-age youth (18–25 years old) as they navigate the unique challenges of moving from adolescence into adulthood. I welcome the opportunity to work with teenagers who are actively engaged in psychotherapy, believing that collaboration between therapy and medication management often leads to the best outcomes. One of my greatest passions is lifelong learning. Behavioral health is constantly evolving, and I enjoy continuing to expand my knowledge so I can provide the highest level of care to my patients while supporting the growth of our clinical team. Spravato is an incredible treatment that we provide at Inspire. ItI feel incredibly fortunate to be part of Inspire Psychiatric and look forward to continuing to care for our community for many years to come.
Amanda Ghamsari, DNP, PMHNP-BC
My philosophy is that mental health should not be a luxury, but rather an integral part of our lives in order to help us live to the best of our abilities. No two people have the same story or the same goals. I wholeheartedly believe in meeting people where they are in life and in their mental health journeys. I am a doctorally prepared Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of experience in behavioral health and substance abuse. I pride myself on breaking down barriers around what mental health looks like and strive to help those I serve find a sense of peace in their lives. There is no judgment in my office, and I will always be rooting for you from the sidelines.

I specialize in working with adults and young adults in medication management and brief psychotherapy. My areas of interest in psychiatry include substance use disorders, mood disorders (such as bipolar disorder and depression), and thought disorders (including schizophrenia and schizoaffective disorder). I also see patients for conditions such as ADHD, adjustment difficulties, and PTSD.

I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over seven years of experience in behavioral health. Throughout my career, I have worked with individuals experiencing a wide range of mental health concerns, including those navigating crisis and emergency situations. While I am experienced in helping patients through difficult moments, I also believe in the importance of early intervention. My goal is to equip individuals with the tools, insight, and support they need to build resilience and better navigate life's future challenges.

I take a holistic approach to mental health, recognizing that physical health, lifestyle, and emotional well-being are deeply interconnected. I enjoy incorporating discussions about exercise, nutrition, sleep, and other healthy lifestyle habits into treatment, believing that caring for the body is an essential part of supporting the mind. Collaboration is at the heart of my practice. I strive to build trusting relationships with my patients and view them as active partners in their care. Through shared decision-making, education, and open communication, I aim to create a supportive environment where individuals feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout their mental health journey. I am passionate about providing caring, evidence-based care to individuals across the lifespan. While I especially enjoy working with transitional-age youth and adults, I also have a special interest in supporting women throughout the perinatal period, recognizing the unique emotional and psychological changes that can occur during pregnancy and the postpartum journey. I value helping individuals navigate life's transitions while developing the skills and confidence to achieve lasting wellness. My goal is to provide personalized, evidence-based care that promotes healing, resilience, and overall well-being. Above all, I hope each person feels heard, understood, and empowered throughout their mental health journey. It is a privilege to walk alongside my patients as they discover their strengths, overcome life's challenges, and build healthier, more fulfilling lives.

"My provider is a great listener, and for the FIRST TIME in 8 years of seeing psychiatrists, I feel like I'm finally having the outcome I once thought was unattainable. She legitimately wants to see me succeed - and it is the sweetest and most genuine thing. I feel like I'm talking to a friend because she's very understanding and down to earth, but at the same time, she is rock solid when it comes to knowing her meds. She's smart, responsive and she cares. She might be an actual unicorn.”
Before joining Inspire Psychiatric, I worked in a retirement community, where I discovered how much I enjoy connecting with people and building meaningful relationships. That experience helped me realize how important it is for individuals to feel heard, respected, and cared for during every interaction.

I transitioned to Inspire Psychiatric in 2026 because mental health has always been deeply important to me. Since joining the team, I have continued to have so many positive interactions with patients and truly enjoy being part of their experience with Inspire. I strive to be a friendly, compassionate, and reassuring voice for patients and families. Whether I am helping answer questions, assisting with scheduling, coordinating care, or simply listening, my goal is to make every interaction feel kind, personal, and supportive. When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my partner and our dog. We love going for walks on the beach and making memories with friends and family.
I joined Inspire Psychiatric as a Client Coordinator in 2023 and have quickly become an integral part of the team. Known for being an instrumental team player, I have embraced every opportunity to learn and grow within the field of mental health. I share Inspire's vision of providing compassionate, patient-centered care and understand the importance of making every interaction meaningful.

I enjoy connecting with patients throughout every stage of their experience with Inspire. Whether I am helping with a simple medication refill request, answering questions, or assisting someone during a more urgent situation, I take the time to ensure each person feels heard, valued, and supported. I always prioritize kindness, patience, and a genuine desire to help others to ensure I create a welcoming experience for both our patients and their families. As a dedicated member of Inspire's administrative team, I work closely with our providers to help ensure patients receive timely communication and exceptional care. I believe that even the smallest interactions can have a meaningful impact, and I strive to make each person's experience with Inspire a positive one. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, including my four sons, who keep life exciting and full of adventure. I enjoy coaching their sports teams, staying active, and making lasting memories with my family. I am grateful for the support of my incredible partner and look forward to continuing to grow both personally and professionally as a member of the Inspire Psychiatric team.
As Inspire’s first employee, I’ve had the privilege of watching our practice grow and evolve, and I’m truly invested in the success of both our patients and providers. With more than eleven years of experience as a medical office administrator, along with a previous ten-year career in veterinary medicine, I help keep things running smoothly by serving as the main contact for insurance and billing questions and overseeing our administrative operations and staff.

When I’m not untangling insurance questions or taking patient calls at Inspire Psychiatric, I enjoy traveling with friends and volunteering with our local wrestling club. My husband and son also keep life fun with their camping trips and cozy movie nights at home.
